This shoot is a bit of an homage to the awesome filmmaker, painter and printmaker, Andy Warhol. Known for pioneering the pop art movement, Andy Warhol had a very successful career, and continues to inspire us way after his death in 1987.

YSL LOVE

YSL is pretty iconic, and inspires a lot of my wardrobe lately. Le Sigh. I need a job. SO MANY WANTS. But I have to wait until school starts to get my pay day :/ WHYYYYYY?

After years of making great menswear inspired pieces for women, YSL has evolved into a great brand. The founder, Yves Saint Laurent" died in 2008, and since then Stefano Pilati has been transforming the brand to stylish new boundaries. And fun fact, YSL was the first designer to use black models on the catwalk.

Street Style- Nicole Richie and Co.

I love Nicole Richie's style, and omg her daughter is adorabs! I also need a new denim vest! I have one but I don't like it much. I am OBSESSED with my denim camp shirt! But its over 100 degrees all the time sooooooo not happening. I love camp shirts so I need to go to the thrift store and invest in a few different plaid ones and some khaki one.

I woke up to rain, and 70 Degree weather! Texas is so unpredictable. I can't help but think of Breakfast at Tiffany's. Seems like I need to break it out and just fill out online job apps while watching it.The style in that movie is amazing. It is style, not fashion. I mean the trench coats are timeless. I need one in my life. I have an untraditional one that is a houndstooth print, but i wouldn't mind the khaki one.

I have a sunglasses obsession. I am primarily only fascinated by them, I break and scratch all of the ones I own. BUT, these Shwood glasses are so unique, I really want a pair of wood glasses!

No not really, don't do that. I don't know why I said that LOL. It is seriously at least 98 degrees outside, and wildfires are burning super close to my university.... I mean, I wouldn't mind if...... LOL. I'm so inspired by this whole tribal and dip dyed hair look!

Style Icon- Colette Carr

SOOOO, I have this LOVE/HATE relationship with Colette Carr, LOL. Her new music that she previewed at Cherrytree London (we went over my cherrytree bias a few posts back) IS AMAZING. Her first mixtape had a COUPLE hits. And yea when I first googled her a few months back I was like, "ok, some rich white girl from MALIBU who does hiphop."--NO, not at all she's actually pretty catchy, and can carry a tune. She has a great work ethic and is pretty epic. Her new track F-16 is something I'm waiting to hear the real version of!

SO my summer playlist is VERY partial to all cherrytree artists. UNINTENTIONAL, they all have this cool unique sound that I need in my life. My ipod is pretty full of random things noone has heard of, and I just sounded totally hipster in that last sentence.

She has awesome style! And a great voice, that wonderland song above is definitely my life story.

AND YES, i only posted this music post here because her style is too awesome, BUT for future music and whatever nonsense runs through my mind will end up on my LIFESTYLEBLOG!

Misikko, Best Hair Dryer. Ever.

REVIEW: HANA Air Premiere Hair Dryer

I have the worlds thickest hair! DO you know how ridiculous it is to try to blow dry?When Misikko contacted me to do a review on a Tourmaline Hair Dryer I was up for the challenge. They sent it out and I got it super fast via UPS, complete with a tracking number. I of course only expected to get a JUST a hair dryer in the box but to my surprise it included Paul Mitchel shampoos (full size), some nail files and sanitizer, sleep mask, hana hair shield, flowers, potpourri... the list has a few more items but you catch my drift. It was awesome.

The blow dryer has a heat and cool setting which is great because it is always over 100degrees in Texas, I don't mind finishing up my style with a blast of cool air. The setting also has two blowing speeds but I only use the first one because the second one was super salon style powerful!

I like this blow dryer compared to my old one, It dried my hair in LESS THAN HALF the time it usually takes me. It's a little larger than my older drier so I need to make a space for it somewhere! I didn't turn it up l the way because it IS salon quality and got pretty hot.

I used the Shine Shield too from the same company and brand to straighten my bangs and had no fly aways, I always have fly aways so this was really great! The smell is kind of strong but it's an ok smell haha, so I didn't mind it too much. Seriously it lives up to the BEST HAIR DRYER title on their site!

My hair is happy, in august I am hoping to order the hana straightener, Love to see what that will do to my hair! (my hair has the shine shield in it plus a sunsilk shine spray that I always use)
Check out Misikko, everyone talks about them so I'm glad I was able to review a product from them, it is worth the investment. Styling tools are something you use often to look good! Invest in something SALON QUALITY.

Sunnies are a must for the summer, but for cool optical lenses as well, Prism London is pretty awesome! Simple and clean styles are synonymous with this company. Why do all the cool things I find come from London or LA? HINT, I should move.

Did you know this Moschino Hotel exists? I want to stay here!It is summer after all, it seems like an awesome getway. Complete with a "sweet room," "ballgown room," "forest room," and "zzzzzz room" It seems like a fashionista-gypsy paradise!
