Weekend(s) Wrap-up AND The Amazing Spider-man.

Im finally home for a weekend so I can upload some of the images that I have taken these past few weeks/days. Plenty more (in real time) if you follow my instagram (I'm Malibu Mara on there too)!
WEEKEND WRAPS:Driving to work in my new shades, LOVING THEM. // My diploma came! I'm officially official yallll// That is where I work, since I talk about it so much. It's like 8 stories tall though// Lunch from starbucks while waiting to chat with Heidi Dillon//Henri Bendel opening, arm party, party.//California Pizza Kitchen (Greek pizza with chicken-- highly recommended)// Afternoon sunset from Galveston Beach// Ghengis Grillin with my best friend from High School// Pier chillin in La Porte// OMG I FOUND MACARONS LESS THAN 10 MILES FROM WHERE I WORK!// 4th of july steeze.// Business cards arrived.
I Also saw the Amazing Spider-man on Friday! I highly recommend it! Summer blockbuster for sure! It is a reboot (hence it being called 'The Amazing Spider-Man' and not just 'Spiderman.') It is the origin theory that begins with Gwen Stacy. If you don't read comics, or just haven't heard of the Marvel stories with Gwen Stacy; google it. I like the Marvel origin with Gwen... But it can be a little confusing because the 3 movies before this one already introduced us to Mary-Jane. However, if you do Google it, it can serve as a bit of a spoiler of what is to come in the next movies. There are other huge differences too like the Spider-man logo on the suit, and mechanical webs instead of organic ones. Yes it is a little different than the former movies with Toby Maguire but honestly, I hated Toby as Spiderman. Andrew Garfield (besides being absolutely gorgeous) plays the role of Peter Parker a lot better, mainly because he was actually intelligent like the comics, and not some shy loser like the earlier films.
Emma Stone did great as Gwen Stacy, and she hates herself with blonde hair but I loved it... AND her style. They are featured in Teen Vogue this month in this shoot... and are a couple in real life!

PLOT: Peter Parker finds a clue that might help him understand why his parents disappeared when he was young. His path puts him on a collision course with Dr. Curt Connors, his father’s former partner.
GO SEE IT! HAVE YOU SEEN ANY GREAT MOVIES THIS SUMMER?
