I came across this article on teenvogue.com that has this amazing tour of Alexandra Heitz's apartment. I am looking for inspiration ideas because I am graduating in basically 2 months! Where will I be? Good question. I don't know.( Don't take that lightly, I have an idea.) But until then. I will look at these awesome photos of Alexandra Heitz cool NY Apartment.
I don't know if she was serious about changing her name to Quigley (which is still cute) But you may have recognized Casey Carlson from American Idol, many seasons ago. OORRR, The artist formally known as Frankmusik; now Vince Did It! (VDI) 's fiance. Did you get that? If you didn't, all you need to know is she goes by Quigley, and this inkblot game song is amazing.
And I know what you're thinking, ANOTHER MUSIC POST? Yep. Yes it is. But I'm counting it as still fashion because this shoot she did with SARA KIESLING is equally cool.
Kimbra is actually from New Zealand, but is seamlessly making a great cross over debut here in America! She's pretty fierce and a falls along the Little Boots/ La Roux lines. Enjoy.
Born in 1989, year of the snake... I have found myself obsessed with reptile print lately.I bought some sheer fabric to make a kimono, but I don't know if I bought enough.SO many things I want to make but work/school is always in the way. I'm almost done with my internship THANK GOD. I can not wait to graduate and move on. Oh life.
SO as fast as fashion week came, it also went. I have been creeping in on runways and style blogs all week to catch up. Working full time and going to school part time really take a lot out of you! I have to say... I am loving that colors in the fall! I love the mix of textures and that pleats are here to stay. I am in love with J.crew and Oscar De La Renta right now. I decided to devote my fashion finale post to the Genius Jenna Lyons. The J. in J. Crew.
Hope everyone is having a great Valentine's day. Mine is filled with homework. BOO. BUT I found this EPIC Cupid's Bow Bowtie that I must make! It's from the awesome clothing line Lavsh. Im going to post more about them soon, BUT OMG this bowtie is really awesome.
These photos are actually all from Prabal Gurung backstage. Many people showed this weekend including L.A.M.B.,Ruffian,Mara Hoffman, Tibi, and DKNY. Tons more showed, but those were my other faves from the weekend. I love backstage shots because so much work goes into the 15 minutes of what is shown onstage. TO see the actual runway shots check it out HERE.
It's NYFW! Fall 2012 is here, and it looks like colorblocking and pleats are here to stay. We all know what I love, backstage and street style shots, so BRING IT ON. Friday Inspiration :)
Born To Feel Beef (Lana Del Rey vs Calvin Harris vs Steve Aoki & Afrojack)
I'll bring you some photos tomorrow from the shows. WE all know my fave part... the street style photos. But what about photos of the street? From back in the day? Today I'm posting some NEW YORK NOSTALGIA. I've been increasingly inspired by architecture lately.
Store Front: The Disappearing Face of New York.

I feel like a barely blog anymore. I work full time interning, and I go to school part time. Any free time I have, I have to focus on school. Things should lighten up in mid March bc my Spanish class will be over. BUT OMG, I am so ready to Graduate. SO READY.
Any trend predictions? Im thinking a lot of colors and prints. NYMAG asked 99 designers what their inspirations were and they provided sketches or items that represented what you'll be seeing in a little under a week:
Nicole Miller
"Freedom"
Rebecca Minkoff
"Texture"
alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet
"Pop!"
Chris Benz
"CHEERS!"
GANT by Michael Bastian
"Luck"
You can see them all here.
Fall 2012 is going to be so fun!
