DIY-BELT BOOTS!

I need to try this! I wish I learned about these pre-rodeo, but I live in Texas; so they are forever appropriate :) I need to go to thrift stores, collect belts, and add this DIY to my list! They are based off of the Luxury Jones Boots that retail about $270 and are all one of a kind. I think I would be paranoid and want them to match. I don't know how I feel about wearing 2 diff looking boots.
Watch the Mr.Kate DIY to see how to make them!

First Day Of Spring

I had no clue today was the official first day of spring until I heard Wendy Williams say it this morning! LOL. One of the trends she mentioned in her ""Spring Trend Report" was Floral Pants... Is it weird I like them? I have a pair of floral leggings, brb... GOING TO FIND THEM.

Your Peplum Is Showing.

I love this peplum trend. I don't know what it is, but I am definitely going to try to find one in time for grad/grad photos.

There are so many peplum styles for sale at asos.com and on modcloth.com but I saw a DIY that I want to try from a thrifted skirt. If I try it I will post the look. Le Sigh. My life is so cray.

Lets Go!

SO, GOOD NEWS. MY SPANISH CLASS ENDED AND I AM IN THE PROCESS OF GETTING IT TRANSFERRED! I PASSED, so I am for sure GRADUATING May 12 at 2:30 :) I was super worried, that class was hard. BUT NOW, My issues are: buying my cap and gown, buying announcements, TAKING SENIOR PHOTOS.
Yes, it's mid-March. I think I'm late. But anyway, my CONCERN is... WHAT TO WEAR? HMMM, I have this coral and cobalt color palate which is great because those colors are in. My school colors are Orange and Blue so its kind of great timing I guess. I need to shop my closet first. I have some great items in there.
SO, Cheers to getting everything done. Somehow, I always manage to.

Music Monday-Spring Break Playlist

Well, out here in the real world of interning--we get no spring break. At least I don't. Of course, the magical break from ritual torture happens to be the same week of SXSW interactive. BOO. I am working. Slaving. Suffering. Missing it. But I have a lot going on anyway. Lets just say, I need all the prayers and good luck I can get.[insert your prayers and good luck here, I for serious need it]
BUT ANYWAY, Enjoy my spring break music playlist after the jump.

Jewelry Haul

I'm such an accessory junkie. I love how inexpensive it makes it to transition between trends. I really wanted a few pieces that were unique that would update some of the looks I have in my closet. Speaking of, my closet needs to be cleaned out! I also need to shop my closet for looks for my graduation pictures... (OH MY. Its craycray over here, grad and these classes are stressing me out.) SO close, but so far, anyway:

Clockwise:
Gold Chandelier earrings:$3.99// Large Lucite earrings:$3.99//Color blocked earrings$3.99//Tribal Ring$3.95// Earring and Necklace set$9.99// Orange Nazar Braclet $4.95
Not bad.I should be good for a while now. My fave as to be the earring and necklace set only because it reminds me of the broken House of Harlow necklace I had. Cheap replacement.

Memory Lane

One of my earliest memories of fashion was when I was in 5th grade. I was in art and my favorite shirt was this cool tee that looks like someone made it from a perfect image of the clouds. It was a GREAT cloud fabric print tee, and I swear I wore it every week at least once. I paired it with acid washed jeans very often.I swear if I ever find a shirt like this again I am going to buy it.
Something I always wanted were a pair of black pants with the galaxy painted on the right leg. I tried them on and showed my mom. I looked at her and said "These pants are so tight!" At the time, "tight" was slang for "cool." My Filipino mom did not get that. She thought I meant the pants were ill fitting and refused to buy them for me. My heart melts everytime I see galaxy printed hipster clothes. I need to buy something from this mini-trend. I'm obviously still reserving a spot in my heart if 12 years later I am still dreaming of these pants I saw when I was 10.
I make it seem like I'm scarred for life! LOL. But seriously, these are my first clothing memories.
The popular ones are from Black Milk Clothing. The old school artist in me wants to DIY this.
Am I the only one with these fashbacks? Feel free to reminisce with me? haha.
