Did you ever see the John Waters movie "Serial Mom" and the scene where one juror (played by Patty Hearst) is wearing white shoes after Labour Day? I'm glad there Hopefully by now the vast majority of people are more flexible with their fashion these days and ditch the fashion "rules".
