KICK & ROLL CLASSIC

So much awesomeness in one event, it can't fit into one post. On Saturday the first Kick& Roll Classic was held at the Round Rock Sports Center near Austin, Texas. In support of a great cause in association with the Josh Childress Foundation and the Habitat for Humanity the event raised awareness for Colon Cancer. "Sneakers first, basketball second" was the motto. In the NBA there has been a growing trend of rocking unique kicks on court, so can you imagine what it would be like to see a sea of dope kicks on every player? Imagine no longer, it happened.  Each 3 on 3 team came prepared with an arsenal of soles to display in a way that is slowly being lost. We're not talking summit or convention--this is function. Shoes are meant to be worn, and to lace up you favorite shoes and put points on the board, isn't that what basketball shoes were all about at one point? To buy and wear playing ball?
Talk about kicks on court, catch a few photos from the weekend and tune in tomorrow for another look at the first annual Kick & Roll Classic.

I spy the only female sneaker head that I keep up with, Taylor AKA on IG @taytayb1120 with her boo @rock_dont_stock. I had to get a photo with her as well after seeing her at HTSS and Sneakercon and not saying anything lol.
I'll also be talking about rock 'em apparel too, socks are becoming another way to customize your look. Unique shoe + unique sock = perfect algorithm for personal style.
I'm just obsessed with these Lebrons.
Shout out to Elite from Houston! They filmed a The Rappup Show live SKEE 247 right after the game with the first every Kick & Roll Classic winners!
Prizes included Gifts cards from foot locker and Nice Kicks, Kind bars (I've been obsessed with them for months), Rock 'e apparel socks, and so much more. Crazy. SHOUT OUT TO TEAM CAVE.  Also, super shoutout to George Kiel (pictured in the center) He is actually the brainchild of this entire event in honor of his mother who was also apparently just as giving and gracious. She molded an awesome human being who put together this amazing event so look out for more to come.

STAY TUNED!
