FASHION HOUSTON 2014 | Day Two

Its that time of the year! Fashion Houston, the event we have been counting down to is here. I didn't go yesterday but today the excitement and anticipation was still in the air for day 2. The line up for the night included The Art Institute of Houston Fashion Designers, Rubin Singer, M.C.L. by Matthew Campbell Laurenza, Rene Ruiz and the AMAZING Naeem Kahn.
My red carpet look featured a vintage coat, Zara Dress, and Sam Edelman Pumps.
The show started with the Art Institute Houston students and I loved it. Can you imagine how awesome it must be to show a collection at Fashion Houston as an emerging designer? Note to self--Keep an eye on these designers in the future. I love how much fun they had on the runway!

Rubin Singer brought the edge with a mostly black and white collection and geographic prints.
Met dance performed in between Rubin and the MCL Jewelry presentation. It was unique to see jewelry presented on a runway but I must say the pieces from MCL are very swoon worthy.
The party really heated up when Manuel Noe took the stage!
Fellow blogger Madeline getting her dance on in the aisle!
Rene Ruiz showed a beautiful collection that was basically a neutral color wheel of textures.
Can I just say My favorite designer for the night was Naeem Khan?  FUN FACT: Did you know that Taylor Swift wore him in her latest Video?
I love textures and this collection was ALL texture.

I love Fashion Houston.
Stay Tuned, photos from day 3 and 4 await....

To view the runway in real time, I'm live tweeting and casually instagraming it all :)
