Wanderlust: 5 bucket list Destinations

With Summer in full swing the idea of travel is on everyone's mind. Everyone needs a break from work life. Sometimes the vacation is a staycation, somewhere continental, or even a typical travel destination. Being me, I of course have a bucket list of rare and interesting natural oddities that I would love to see in person. Sometime before I die, I have to make this happen.

Rounding out the top 5 is Senegal's Lake Retba, or as the French call it, Lac Rose. Its a pink lake. Come on.Experts say the lake gives off its pink hue due to cyanobacteria, a harmless halophilic bacteria found in the water. Lake Retba has a high salt content, much like that of the Dead Sea, allowing people to float effortlessly in the massive pink water. Im not sure if I would swim in it, but a little boat would be fun! #photoop

Ok, the Taj Mahal is pretty popular. I really want to see this place in real life. No clue when or why... I just think its a beautiful building that should be admired at least once in person.

What is a list without Heaven's Gate in Bali, Indonesia? Imagine how breathtaking this is in person.

Another kind of popular destination.. Cairo. These Pyramids are a modern marvel. I don't think they can truly appreciated by looking in a text book, or a blog. To think Man made them with no modern technology (unless you watch Ancient Aliens LOL) is crazy.
So obviously I would LOVE to visit Japan. My favorite candy in the world is Kit Kats... AND THEY HAVE A KIT KAT STORE. I die. It has special flavors including my favorite, green tea matcha. Must swing through Kyoto for this.

WHAT IS ON YOUR BUCKET LIST?
