1/365 Motivation

I am typically not one for resolutions but 2017 was a looonng year for me. It wasn't all bad. It had high highs and low lows. I appreciate every experience that I had. I have learned so much about myself and what I am capable of doing and I am very proud and empowered. This blog is going to go through a few changes in the new year and I am looking forward to every moment.

I'm not going to bash anyone that is into resolutions. If it takes a new year to personally motivate you to do something new or different, then let that motivate you. What matters is finishing, who cares when you choose to start. I have seen a lot of rude posts about people adamant about new year changes and I just want to let people know its ok to start things in the new year. I do not particularly wait till a new year, but I do like to take this time to reflect as a big picture.
So what are my "resolutions"?
My list is pretty consistent with goals I have in general:

1) Save tons of money/ Contribute more to my 401K and 401K roth. I am thankful for a company with a nice match benefit but I want to continue to impact my nest embryo.
2) Work out more consistently. I have fallen off my workout train. I had a good rhythm in HTX and I have not been as good in a consistent way.
3) Travel more. I have 2 international trips already planned so I have a good start. I say travel more every year but I finally get to do some different things this year.
4) Learn caligraphy. I say this every year and never do it... I really want to learn this!
5) Figure out a 24 month plan on PDX. I don't want to get too deep into it, but I don't know if I want to stay here. I need to make my mind up before I just get leveled by the "big one."
6) Make Malibumara a focus. Its always been a side project. I studied fashion, I've been working in fashion... My mission and purpose has evolved. It's going to be nice to focus.

My vision board has a bit more detail. When I get back from HTX I will post a photo. My bad on not including it sooner!

LOVE, MARA
