Good Eats: The Waffle Bus

It started as a Friday habit for my coworkers and me to eat out on Fridays for lunch. We only have one hour, but usually get caught up in our break from corporate life. Something about being away from grey cloth covered work stations and not being in front of double monitors is a simple pleasure. After driving by a Houston food truck named "The Waffle Bus" on the way to other restaurants in the area, we finally took a chance and tried it out. Something about eating food from a truck can seem kind of sketch LOL, but this one had so many great reviews we deemed it legit.
Opted for the Chicken and Waffle Sandwich with Spicy Mayo sauce ( Also available with an Ancho Chili Honey sauce)

Since food trucks move around during the week, we had to track this bad boy down on a Thursday. Located at the AT&T store on San Felipe, it was a no-brainer to go. It's literally around the corner from the office. I opted for a Chicken and Waffle sandwich with spicy mayo sauce. I also want to eventually try the "Fryders" which are basically mini "sliders" but made with waffle fries. See a pattern? Yea.
Waffles on Waffles on Waffles.
Don't we look like 5 characters? We need a reality show. "The Other Office" And yes, in one visit we became food truck aficionados and ate on a curb. HOLLAAAAA.
If you're in Houston and interested in tracking them down check out their site: http://www.thewafflebus.com and follow their twitter.
