Weekend Wrap-up: New Beginnings

EXCUSE THE MUSHY LIFE UPDATE BUTTTT: Tomorrow I start my first day with a new title and a new floor :D I learned I got a promotion 2 weeks ago and lets just say I could not be any happier. Long story short; I started as a intern, landed a job in a department unrelated to what I wanted to do. It paid well and I figured it would get me where I wanted to be. I graduated less than a year ago with my Fashion Merchandising degree and now... I GET TO USE IT. I'm so excited. I just can't believe it took me less than a year (9 months, symbolism anywhere?) I am thankful to have even landed a corporate job less than a month after I graduated college... But working my dream job is amazing. Its a hard career to land... I prided myself forever in making big goals and reaching for something seemingly unattainable. This industry is hard. Its not like being a nurse, where you take a few tests and then just work somewhere. Its more than that..and I love that. I can't wait to see what the rest of this year has in store for me... But its actually been pretty bomb.
P.S: Since I'm back in touch working in the fashion/apparel industry, EXPECT MORE POSTINGS! Lots of trend forecasting ahead for this girl.

LtoR: Salmon Kabobs from Zoes Kitchen are my absolute shit. Great for all these lenty Fridays//ODB Shimmy Shimmy Ya will forever be my go to jam. Its random and I obviously don't have enough photos to round out a proper weekend wrap-up.\\ I painted my nails jade-sh and pistachio. Great on trend colors for this season. //DO you remember Alaila Lee? I ordered the cutest MOST PERF scarf from her. Highly Recommended. \\ So the Williams Tower has made an appearance in a wrap-up in the daytime, it also looks really dope at night. // If you follow me on twitter you know I am OBSESSED with CENO, some artist who has been all up and down my stomping grounds making the city of Houston with his Cup of Purp. It makes my day when I spot one and I FINALLY was in enough traffic to snap a quick photo of his work. DETERMINED TO FIND HIM ( OR HER? )// Went to a rockets game too, we totes lost. Like really bad. But we had suite seats? That makes up for it right?
