THROWBACK THURSDAY: REWATCHING THE O.C.

I'm doing it. I am re-watching the OC and I regret nothing. I remember I liked it the first time around because they had the best music. When Seth worked at "The Bait Shop," which I interpret as a bar that all the coolest artists at the time performed at, I swear I improved my limewire/itunes playlists 1000%. I also forgot season 2, Seth ran away to live with Luke in PORTLAND, OREGON. It was so iconic. They dressed cool, they were also in high school, they were so dramatic and I couldn't wait to watch every Wednesday.
Lets get some trivia going, because its THROWBACK THURSDAY and I am really obsessed with my OC renaissance....
Can you remember 3 epic bands that performed at "The Bait Shop"?
1. The Killers
2. Death Cab for Cutie
3. Modest Mouse

These 3 bands were still rising at the time, crazy how big they got during this era.
I still have a crush on Seth Cohen. Do you remember the Seth Cohen starter pack? In an episode he has the audacity to date 2 girls at the same time and attempt to give them a starter pack for him, which kills me because he  basically invented the starter pack meme.

THE SETH COHEN STARTER PACK:
The Goonies DVD
A Copy of The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay
Albums by Death Cab for Cutie, Bright Eyes, and The Shins

I think Seth also invented Hipster.

Here's a good one you forgot. CHRIS BROWN WAS ON THE SHOW DATING MARISSA'S SISTER. He played a band nerd.

While researching OC facts, I ended up just finding the ultimate thing on buzzfeed... an O.C. drinking game:
Did you ever watch the O.C.? Its on Hulu now, if you are interested. I'm still powering through season 2, it really is only downhill from here though, this show burned bright fast and fell off way too early.
