Goodbye 2011, hello 2012.

So I was going to do this long post about reflecting on my year, but I changed my mind.

Basically to sum it up, 2011 was epic.

SO yea, 2012, go ahead and be better than 2011.
That would be awesome.

Photolog: Rockets Game

SO last night I went to the Houston Rockets Basketball game. I'm not really a sports person but I went and had fun. We sat in the "red room" whatever that is. Basically it has tables and food LOL. We all know I like food, so I was happy.

Plate one. LOL.

We won, and played the Spurs.

 

So my new Favorite dessert is creme brulee. The tall glass was a lemon tart. OMG, me and my sweet tooth.

 StereoHoggz performed for halftime, they were OK. They need some serious work.... or to break up and be solo or a 3 person thing. Maybe it was just too much going on. BUT yea, it was cool to be fully HOUSTONIAN. I missed the H. Glad to be back :)

SO I bought this top today, I saw it and couldn't resist. Apparently the style is called the "Rick Rack Top" LOL. I loves it. The details are amazing.

I'm thinking of wearing it over a red dress! I loves it. Le sigh. I'm so tired.I'm off tomorrow, and ready to relax. I actually need an oil change... UGH.So much to think about in terms of my future... Its soooo close, yet so far.

Anyone else as annoyed as I am with hearing how people are going to "Make a change," "Be a whole new person," "Take over" Or the most annoying of them all "2012 is my year." ....You say that every year. STOP IT. Change starts slowly over time; start now, start yesterday. I can't believe how quickly this year went by!
All I look forward too is blooming. The seeds have been sown, and its time to blossom.

Im going to take a break from the Christmas posts because I have become OBSESSED with Lana Del Rey. First off, her music is hypnotizing, second... She is incapable of looking ugly. She's sooooo beautiful. Her music though, is seriously AMAZING. Indie pop/folk pop, like I said, its hypnotizing. I'll let your judge for yourself, But I think she's too genius.

I would have done 5 christmas posts but yesterday was really busy. I spent most of the day at work, and then trying to delete a virus on my computer. SO I started at my job (well training and a mtg, first real day is tomorrow.) But it has been really cool. Just know that it's great!Better than anything I've ever done, mainly because for the first time, I'm surrounded with intelligent people who are on the same page. But anyway. I am about 90% on refinishing my room! SO much to do, so little time.

Kohls, Say What?

Upon researching companies, I always see the fact that Kohls is one of the top retailers and is always kicking JcPenny's ass. Basically they are the reason JCP is going to go out of business. I wondered why... I don't really like either store, but the MNG collected at JCP helped. I went into Kohls with my mom... and I must say, that Jennifer Lopez line, and also the Lauren Conrad Line caught my attention.

I want these!!! They look cuter on!!

AND Lauren Conrad won my heart with some Minnetonka knockoffs for $60.

I am Buried in my own room.

SO I am back in Houston annnnd moving back in is not as easy as it generally is.... I have WAY.Too.Much.STUFF. IM trying to recycle a lot of my magazines but am I the only one that thinks vogue archives are useful? Its so hard to think I need to take them out. EVEN MY ISSUES OF VOGUE MEN! VOGUE MEN GOT DISCONTINUED AFTER THE RECESSION! I am here. Buried in my own room. I work tomorrow. And I can't bring myself to finish -_____- LOL, so I blog. I want GoYard Trunks to organize everything I own.

Today Is My Birthday :)

I'm 22 :) And Packing my life away and studying for Finals. This is really stressful. BUT I did have a fun B-day morning. SO thank you to everyone who wished me Happy bday through the various social media platforms and text msgs.

2012 Tangerine Tango

The Pantone color of the year for 2012 is going to be Tangerine Tango!  

While doing my research for one of my consumer behavior projects I discovered a list of potential colors and judging by the spring 2012 shows, it was pretty evident that tangerine tango was going to be it.
