Memory Lane: The O.C.

I have an embarrassing confession. One of my favorite shows when I was in high school was The O.C. MAINLY because Seth Cohen was sooo nerdy and adorable. Also, him and summer made the cutest couple ever, he wrote a comic book for her... HOW CUTE IS THAT?

I couldn't get enough. NOT TO MENTION THE STYLE ON THAT SHOW.I feel like at heart I have an inner Seth Cohen... He's hilarious.

Weekend(s) Wrapup.

So my last actual week at work was pretty busy, but I was able to sneak in a few random things. I also realized I need to take more photos. So many outfits that are being missed LOL.

WEEKEND(s) WRAP-UP:
1) Double date bowling at Lucky Strikes. I suck at bowling. It's got to be the saddest thing ever.
2)Snack time. Protein has become a staple in my fridge, and summer fruit selections are what heaven is made out of.
3) This Is The End is HILARIOUS.  Highly recommended.
4) Unless you're living under a rock you know that the Heat are back to back NBA Champs. Sad that basketball season is over. I don't really care for football sooo unless is a Texans game or the Superbowl... I'll be counting down the days for basketball season. I SAID IT.
5) I got the new Mary Kay VoxBox! I'm new to influenster and this was my first survey I did to try to participate. Can't wait to review them for you this week!
6) We saw World War Z on Friday. Also highly recommended. Oh me and my random sci-fi attraction. 


I wish I had more time.

Magna Carta, Holy Grail.

Its Music Monday and if you have been keeping up with the NBA finals you saw the Jay-z Glimpse (presented by Samsung galaxy) of the new Jay-Z Album Magna Carta. I've been a HUGE Jay-Z fan forever so of course this needs to be added to the collection as soon as it drops! Just watch the commerical... and get ready.

Man this is the dream team right here: Timba, Swizz, Hov, Pharrell and Rick Rubin. This is going to be and instant Classic.

Today is fathers day and my Dad's B-day! In honor of dad's day, I can proclaim my secret love for men's wear. Wish it made more of an appearance on my blog, but oh well.

I am obsessed with this watch. Mainly just the Gold Marc Jacobs Henry watch. They scream summer. Its such a cute and fun concept but for $200 I don't think I'll add it to my collection. I did just purchase a Marc Jacobs Amy but it is a little more timeless (no pun intended) and classic.

Free Press Summer Fest 2013

Free Press Summer Fest 2013. What. A. Weekend.

 In honor of summer and all things music, the free press summer fest is now in it's 5th inception and is carving its way out into being a premiere summer outdoor music festival. With a huge lineup, and several stages to view genres across the board; there was never a dull moment.

Yes there was heat. The event is outdoors at Elanor Tinsley park nestled in the heart of Houston. The key was to dress well, and stay hydrated.

FESTIVAL FASHION: Forever21 lace top and fringe purse, acid wash shorts, cotton on fedora.

From 2chainz to Bassnectar, our line up choice was nothing short of epic. We saw: Part of Paul Wall, The lead from Interpol, 2chainz, Heard a bit of Arctic Monkeys, made our way back to Borgore, PASSION PIT, and ended day one with CALVIN HARRIS! Day two we made it out for the end of Machine Gun Kelly and Bassnectar.  EPIC. EPIC.EPIC.

IS THAT EVEN A QUESTION? YES. YES WE WILL! So now that I have gotten my first music festival out of the way... I think I'm ready for a Bonnaroo or Coachella. Anyone down?
